texas in march

it is 72 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny, with a 5 MPH wind from the south souf.

rhonda, shannon and i just threw the frisbee around for a while. my throws are coming along well.

i'm working on a title graphic for this page that will have a couple things added. Q is helping me out with all this. big props to him.

oh tell me if these colors look all right or anything else. suggestions are good.

I dig the BF5 font. The brown of the titles and dates and stuff and the blue of the comments are less bright than they could be, though I actually sort of like the blue, so this isn't so much constructive criticism as confusing critisim, but anyway, I think it looks pretty swell overall, and I'd like to reiterate that I dig the BF5 font. Nice new site! Where did Sock Baby come from? I'm not good with colors, sorry. Posted by: MattL at March 29, 2004 09:47 PM
john, i cannot lie to you. as an art major, i see it my place to say that you do yourself little justice with this color scheme. perhaps another day we can play with some combinations. not now though since i'd like to get over whatever illness is plaguing me... I really like the red, but the greenish brown color doesn't do it for me, the site is a little dark. Maybe you could change it to white. Posted by: Rob at March 29, 2004 11:01 PM
yeah well the theme is sort of based off of the cover of Ben Folds Live. the BG should be dark for that, but i can brighten some other stuff up. maybe put some pics on the sidebar or make the main body of the blog a different BG color. Posted by: john at March 29, 2004 11:19 PM
The red-on-black and all that looked fine at home, and OK here at school, but the greenish (avocado?) text don't show up so good at school. Posted by: Kev at March 30, 2004 03:14 PM
