timing!
argh! The Killers are coming to The Quest on September 9th. where will I be in September? back in Denton, TX. The Killers have a few shows in TX, but they are in places like Austin on days where i can't possibly know what i have going on until it's probably too late to figure out how to drive there and get tickets on a budget.
i'll see them eventually though, and i anticipate it will be sweet.
last year, i freaked out telling everyone about SpyMob. this year, i think it'll be The Killers. buy the CD, see a show.

i got the killers cd. it rocked my house to the ground. and then i wept over the remains, before composing a song about the entire ordeal, only to realize that my song was a poorer version of a killers song already in existence. and then my head exploded!

I missed the Killers show in dallas after I DROVE ALL THE WAY THERE. Tickets didn't "sell out" they just "sold you tickets but wouldn't let you into the show because the club was at capacity." My breasts did not serve the purpose of getting me what I wanted, and I was angry. On a side note, because of their popularity at this venue, others will work hard in the near future to get them, if you'll even be seen in public with me.
P.S. Austin is a mere 3 hours south of Denton, straight down the hwy. In the event that a road trip could be scheduled, it would not be a huge investment. Also, look for shows in Oklahoma-like, Oklahoma City- it's just 3 hours north.
