3.2 million bloodshot eyes

so like many, many, many others, Halo 2 has been a cruel mistress of mine. not as cruel as one might think, though. granted, i've skipped 4 classes in the last two days (only one of those was for Halo 2), but i haven't binged on it like i was able to in the old days.

i remember in high school and the summer after senior year, i was able to play Halo and Morrowind for multiple hours on end. I don't think i've been able to play Halo 2 for more than 1 1/2 hours before needing an eyeball rest. oh well, moderation.

basically, i still am a big old dork and i'm posting at nearly 3:00 AM because i got sucked into a big CTF on the way back to my room at 1:15.

wort wort wort!

Just one more game!... 2 and a half hours later, 8 people are pissed off and leave without saying anything... ahhhhh, the summer before college was awesome Posted by: Jake at November 11, 2004 10:18 PM
Yes! That was so much fun. The headsets make the game for me, you can talk to people around you, it's great, especially in this setting. Posted by: Ben at November 11, 2004 10:58 PM
I NEED MY COPY TO SHOW UP! IT WAS SHIPPED, BUT IT'S NOT HERE YET!!! Posted by: Drew at November 12, 2004 01:38 AM
i haven't actually found anyone to play me in a multiplayer setting yet, but it's definitely glitzy looking. seems like its posturing itself to be a new unreal tournament what with all the new phrases it spouts out when you kill people. i just hope "double kill", et al has survived into this version. I agree with billys recent post, The pistol will be missed. on the plus side, the fuel rod cannon and energy sword both r0ck. My roomate goes on s-word binges for killing sprees at a time.
Oh yes, and just when I figure out how to use the ice gun FLAWLESSLY, it loses its freeze power...i think Posted by: phil at November 14, 2004 02:46 PM
the pistol still dominates in halo 2... true, it doesn't have a scope anymore, but if your crosshairs are still centered on the target you can hit someone from really far away and do alot of dmg... it fires so fast, it's amazing Posted by: Jake at November 14, 2004 11:22 PM
omg he just combined 'a lot' and abbreviated 'damage'. I think that's a full regression to the 12 year-old girl stage. Posted by: Drew at November 15, 2004 02:05 AM
