As regards your previous post, you have no idea how much it pains me to see so much perfectly ripe geekdom so near, and yet so far. Being surrounded by hipsters (yes, but the production value on the original vinyl cut of Brian Eno's Airport Sounds doesn't measure up to his vision, which is to have it played over airport speakers, intermingled with airport sounds. It was the limitations of technology, not an artistic choice . . .) is so much less fun. (Actually, I've never heard that exact argument, but . . .)
