no fever, but stuffy nose and inability to sleep. i'm believe i'm on the upswing. i went to bed early last night, and should probably do the same tonight. we'll see.

trivial pursuit master

i played trivial pursuit 20th anniversary edition with drew and janine tonight for like 3 and 1/2 hours. i was the winner, answering the question, "To a dungeons and dragon's fan, what does 'RPG' stand for."

that's right. probably the easiest question in the world for a male to answer (role playing game, by the way).

janine was ahead for most of the game, and got her final wedge question was "What canine asked to sniff Jennifer Lopez's Posterior at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards? (paraphrase)"

in my opinion, that was the best question...

feverish holiday season

overnight, i was struck with a fever. it's only a slight fever, but enough to make me feel like crap. i haven't had anything to eat today except 2/3 of an apple and some orange juice. my body aches.

i spent most of my afternoon watching television, and doing absolutely nothing else, except for the occasional groan. i do know a lot more about Gilligan's Island thanks to the E! channel.

other than the fever, i'm really enjoying my time back home. ugh. too sick to think of anything else to say.

in other news, today was Winter Solstimate, in which i suited up and played frisbee for two hours in single digit temperatures. my lung cilia weep, for they've been bombarded with cold, cold air.

my left ear stopped ringing, finally. i did a super sleep-in today, because i could.

i'm going to take some trombone lessons.

we're ordering Davanni's pizza. i am in heaven. cold, cold heaven.

my left ear has been ringing ever since i got off my plane at 7:00 PM yesterday friday evening.

home again, finally

this morning i picked my flugel and trumpet up from the shop this morning, ate some breakfast, did some laundry, packed, and helped elizabeth get her stuff to jamie's car.

franklin and i feasted on some Sonic, then he took me to DFW airport, where i got on standby for an earlier flight.

i satiated my hunger for quasi-pretentious prog-rock by listening to the mars volta and staring at the most beautiful dark purple clouds i've ever seen.

as soon as i walked off the plane, i could see my breath clearly.

i came home, vegged out, and played some halo 2 with ben.

it's so good to be home

last final

in 15 minutes, i have my physics of musical sound final, then i'm done.

mesquite, squite, squite

i went to mesquite to spend some time at casa de elizabeth. real food plus real home equals best!

i watched The Godfather for the first time all the way through there, and i enjoyed it. now i have a couple hang out days, a final on thursday, cleaning, packing, and then i'm home on friday!

the days of lazy continue

i cant remember the last time i've been able to sleep in this much consecutively.

last night, elizabeth and i watched The Count of Monte Cristo. i found it to be a very enjoyable movie.

yeah so i'm just counting down the days until i'm back in MN. i'm a bit Texas-ed out right now, and i need a northern recharge.

VG time

with a lot of my finals and jury out of the way, i've had lots of free time. some of this free time has gone into playing Halo 2.

i have i think one more final, on thursday the 16th. if it werent for that one, i could probably be back home now. oh well, i'll enjoy my time here and relax and practice. i am really eager to get on home. i wanna see everyone. well, except drew james.

somehow, monday = awesome

awesome things that have happened today:

• I slept in until 10:30 AM
  
• i found out that i am EXEMPT FROM THE THEORY FINAL because i have an A
  
• my 2-month anniversary present for elizabeth came in the mail (a 24-count case of Fun Dip)
  
• I ruled my trumpet Jury
  
• on my way back from my Jury, i got a front row parking space, third car in!

end of semester stress

all final projects, tests and assignments are magically drawing closer. so much stuff to do, so little initiative.

the only thing due for this week for me is a theory assignment, i believe. next week i have to have a transcription done for improv, and my original tune arranged and recorded by thursday for arranging. GAH.
