the 2nd week of the semester should not be as hard as it was this week.
more later in an edit
EDIT:
i had 4 pieces of homework due in 4 different classes on thursday, so each day was filled with doing homework, sometimes into ungodly hours of the evening.
i don't know if i'm going to be doing ultimate this year. improv 2 is going to be so hard, i don't think i can give up weekends to tournaments when i could be practicing and working on stuff for that class. priority dictates that music shall come before frisbee.
this weekend i had to work up a charlie parker transcription to play tomorrow in improv. we'll see how THAT goes. gahhr.
i'm so having nothing to really say.
go download Soldat and play it with me.
as always, 24 rules me. kiefer is the best.
this week almost all my stuff is due on thursday, so this night shall be for working, mostly.
the first week is great because its all syllabus handing out, basically. my friend chrysta and i are splitting the cost of a used government book, and we got bitchin' seats in the 2nd to last row of this big conference room.
lab band is going pretty well so far. our lead player actually plans on doing sectionals this semester. rock and roll! jazz!
i'm sleeping on the top bunk, set at the highest setting. i can reach out and touch the spinning fan blades. i was pretending to do it with my toes. elizabeth told me not to do it, but i did it anyway. i accidentally hit my big toe to a quickly spinning fan blade. so part of my big toenail is broken, seating me securely in the dumbass hall of fame. why do i write about this on the internet? because i have not much else to speak of.
my classes from monday to friday start at these times: 9:30, 10:00, 9:30, 10:00 and 11:00 (or not at all). its amazing and excellent.
in other news, i'm watching a lot more TV than i did last semester, this is primarily due to I Love the 90s: Part Deux, the OC, and 24, which everyone in the known universe should watch and love. for about 2 days i had a 24 background, but then i found a southpark character generator, and made these.

this is elizabeth, me and jamie. notice the high-looking eyes and agape mouth indicitave of my friend jamie.
i'm movin' on up.
3rd trumpet in the 5 o clock lab band.
so the internet hasn't worked since wednesday. it just got back up today. huzzah.
hmm. recent events:
last night's episode of 24 destroyed me, i must watch more.
been playing KOTOR 2. if you don't know what that is, you aren't a geek.
first day of classes is today for me. so far i've had Gov't with a prof that i think i'll actually be able to pay attention to. charisma is an important attribute for a jedi professor to have.
lab band results get put up in a few hours. expect an update, maybe.
interesting things will happen
i almost missed my flight yesterday. my flight was scheduled to depart at 9:35 and i was just getting in line for the checkpoint at 9:00. i then proceeded to run a billion miles to my gate and just make it on the flight.
audition is on monday. gotta get ready!
actually, it's drew james and janine beha that rule as people.
congratulations drew, on finishing the "bottomless" cup of coffee.
24 is the best show in the history of the world.
EDIT: I will also use this space to say that Kiefer Sutherland is my new man-crush, pushing Luke Wilson out of the number one spot.

in the past two days i've watched 13 episodes of "24".
best show evar.
i just drove elizabeth to the airport. in an hour and 1/2, she'll be back on her way to texas.
9 days until i see her again.

elizabeth has been visiting up in MN since thursday. we've been having a great time. it hasn't really snowed at all. today it's just been sleeting/freezing raining.
happy new year
