most likely, i will be spending the summer in Denton, taking lessons, practicing and trying to gig in my free time.
nothing is for certain yet, though.
elizabeth and i have been together for 1 year and 6 months!
also, franklin and i had a beer yesterday. i found a texas beer that does not suck! behold, Saint Arnold Fancy Lawnmower!
still busy busy.
i'm back in denton. i have lots of stories, lots of pictures, and lots of laundry.
my car is in the shop right now for repairs. the Grand Canyon trip is a go, and i want to make sure that my car does not crap out in the middle of the desert!
i really need this spring break. i have stuff i need to get done, but i also need to just chill out for a while and not do anything.
ok it's been yet another long period of scant posting for me.
updates time.
i got two of my major arranging projects mostly finished, which has alleviated a lot of the stress.
i found out that i did not get the disney job this summer. it's ok though, i wasn't really expecting it. my audition was the day after getting back from TMEA. i hadn't played my horn all week and i'm sure it showed. it's just more audition experience for me.
my summer plans have to be figured out in the coming weeks. basically, i'll either be in Texas doing classes and taking lessons, or back home working at the old lightbulb warehouse.
my roommates and i are going to go our separate ways at the end of may, which means i need to start looking for a new pad. i really like the place we're at now. it's in a good neighborhood, right by a gas station, dry cleaners, and two barbecue places, and it's a big house for decent rent. as for roommates, i can't really think of any people i'd be better roommates with than jeremy and ross, so i'll probably look for a single apartment close to campus. there are a couple places that are so close i wouldn't need a parking permit.
spring break plans are also up in the air. maybe grand canyon? maybe not? we'll have to see.
i'm still alive!
i've just been very busy with (guess what) arranging.
instead of an all nighter, i pulled an all dayer yesterday. my chart went from being a sketch on paper to being fully Finale'd out. it took about 7 to 8 hours to do it all, but at least it was when i was awake.
