fruition

i have to get a chart recorded by friday. this is a major undertaking. it involes doing a huge chunk of work tomorrow (possibly an all nighter) and touch ups before getting it recorded on thursday afternoon.

basically, this is the week i die.

truth in lyrics

i would walk 500 miles
and i would walk 500 more
just to be the man who walked 1000 miles to fall down at your door

hear my arrangement and hear me play

UNT's Lab Band Madness concert is tonight.

if you would like to hear me or any of the other lab bands, including the One O'Clock Lab Band, go to the KNTU homepage and click on "listen live."

the event starts at 7:00PM and my band is the second of the night, so we should be on at about 7:15 or 7:20

the first tune my band is doing is my re-rearrangement of "The Natives are Restless Tonight." the second tune we're doing is an arrangement of "The Nearness of You" that i did not arrange, but am playing the flugelhorn solo on. so, it's John Guari night! Huzzah!
