this marks the fourth year in a row i havent been able to attend the Minnesota State Fair.

it looks like we wont be playing that show. it'd be biting off more than we could chew, too much too soon, etc
i'm trying to figure out if Chestnut House should take this gig in dallas, where we have absolutely zero exposure. could we get enough people out to deep ellum to see us. this is a very important question. this is what i've posted on myspace twice, facebook once, and now here.

the pay is based on the door, which means they ask each person who they're at the club to see. the booking agent told me that if we can't bring anyone there, we might not want to book with them yet.
what we need to know is this: would you be willing to come out on Saturday Sept the 9th and pay 8 or 11 dollars to support our fledgling band, Chestnut House. please say yes and please let us know with a message. thank you.

there are some possible gigs that maybe might happen for Chestnut House, my new band. i'm excited and optimistic.
i know i have already informed half the American population about this, but just so everyone knows, the Taco Bell Crunch Wrap Supreme is a demigod wrapped in softshell tortilla. do yourself a favor and go get one right now.
today's my last day of summer school. i'll have a couple weeks off, then the fall semester starts. it will be most likely my final full year of undergraduate studies.
things are going well. i'm playing a lot of trumpet and piano. the new band has had 2 rehearsals and we're sounding really good considering we hadn't played together for 2 months. we're on the cusp of a new band name.
living "alone" has been great. i like having my own space, even though i'm very frequently at elizabeth's apartment instead of mine.
any good band name suggestions are welcome
